Generator stops and displays E13; may occur randomly during operation.

Safety first: Turn OFF the generator, disconnect the battery, and wait for moving parts to stop.

• Check harness connections: Inspect the engine wiring harness, especially connectors to the crankshaft position sensor, cam sensor (if equipped), and other critical sensors. Reseat connectors and look for broken locking tabs.
• Look for abrasion: Ensure the harness is not rubbing against sharp edges or hot exhaust components. Repair or replace damaged sections.
• Clear code and retest: Reconnect the battery, clear the E13 code if the controller allows, and run the generator under light load to see if the fault returns.
• If E13 recurs: The affected sensor or the controller input may be failing. Use the A-iPower service manual to identify the exact sensor referenced by E13 and replace as needed, or contact a technician.
