Possible Causes
Empty fuel tank or closed fuel valve, Fouled spark plugs (gas models), Clogged carburetor jets or injectors, Weak ignition coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF auto-start, disconnect the battery, and keep sparks away from fuel. Work in a ventilated area.
- Verify basics: Confirm fuel level, open all manual fuel valves, and ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Check spark (gas/LP/NG): Remove a spark plug, reconnect its wire, ground the plug body to the engine, and crank briefly. Look for a strong blue spark. Replace fouled plugs with OEM A-iPower plugs.
- Inspect air filter: Replace a clogged air filter that can prevent starting.
- Carburetor/injector cleaning: For carbureted models, drain old fuel from the bowl and use carburetor cleaner. For EFI models, use fresh fuel and consider professional injector cleaning.
- If still no start: Further diagnosis of compression, ignition timing, and fuel pressure is needed; contact a technician.
