Possible Causes
Damaged or collapsed vibration isolators, Unbalanced engine or alternator, Loose mounting bolts to concrete pad, Misaligned coupling (if separate engine/alternator)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect the battery. Do not place hands near moving parts while running.
- Inspect vibration mounts: Look under the generator for rubber isolation mounts between the frame and base. Replace any cracked or collapsed mounts with A-iPower-compatible isolators.
- Check mounting hardware: Ensure the generator frame is securely anchored to the pad with proper hardware and that no bolts are missing.
- Remove loose items: Clear any tools or debris from the enclosure that may amplify vibration.
- If vibration remains severe: Internal imbalance or misalignment may require professional balancing or alignment.
