Possible Causes
Fuel tank empty or very low, Blocked fuel filter, Air in fuel lines, Faulty fuel lift pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF automatic mode and keep all flames and sparks away from the fuel system.
- Verify fuel level: Check the Aksa base tank gauge or external tank gauge. Refill with the correct diesel grade if low. Ensure the tank vent is open and not blocked.
- Inspect fuel lines: Follow the fuel line from tank to engine. Look for kinks, crushed sections, or wet spots indicating leaks. Repair or replace damaged hoses.
- Replace fuel filter: Locate the primary and secondary fuel filters on the engine. Replace them with OEM‑specified filters. Prime the system using the manual priming pump if fitted.
- Bleed air from system: Loosen the bleed screw on the fuel filter or injection pump and operate the priming pump until fuel flows without bubbles, then retighten.
- Check fuel lift pump: With ignition on, listen/feel for the electric lift pump (if equipped). For mechanical pumps, verify fuel delivery by loosening an outlet line briefly (use rags and eye protection). Replace the pump if no fuel is delivered.
- Clear code and test: Reset the controller and attempt a start. Persistent E03 after confirming fuel supply may indicate a faulty fuel level sender or controller input.
