Possible Causes
Discharged starting battery, Failed battery charger, Loose or corroded battery terminals, Internal battery failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disable automatic start. Batteries can emit explosive gases; avoid sparks and open flames.
- Measure battery voltage: Use a multimeter at the battery posts. If below about 11.5 V (12 V system) or 23 V (24 V system), the battery is deeply discharged.
- Inspect terminals: Clean corrosion from posts and clamps, then tighten securely. Check ground connection to the Aksa generator frame.
- Check charger operation: Verify AC supply to the charger and measure its DC output. Replace the charger if it is not providing the correct float voltage.
- Recharge or replace battery: Use an external smart charger to fully charge the battery. If it will not hold charge or fails a load test, replace with the correct CCA‑rated battery specified by Aksa.
- Clear alarm and test start: After restoring battery health, reset the controller and perform a manual start test.
