Safety first: Exhaust components are extremely hot. Allow the system to cool before touching any exhaust parts.

• Inspect exhaust outlet: Check that the Aksa generator exhaust pipe and rain cap are not blocked by debris, nests, or ice.
• Check load level: Review the kW load at the time of trip. Reduce load to within the generator's continuous rating.
• Examine exhaust manifold and turbo: Look for oil leaks, loose clamps, or damaged insulation. Abnormal smoke or whistling may indicate turbo issues.
• Sensor check: Locate the exhaust temperature sensor on the manifold. Inspect wiring and connector. Replace the sensor if readings are clearly incorrect.
• Professional service: Persistent exhaust overtemp with normal load requires engine timing and turbocharger checks by a qualified technician.
