Faulty ATS control wiring, Stuck ATS contactor, Incorrect controller mode (Manual only), Failed ATS coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: De‑energize both mains and generator before opening the ATS.
- Check controller mode: Ensure the Aksa controller is in AUTO mode and that auto start is enabled.
- Simulate mains failure: With supervision, remove mains sensing and observe if the generator starts and ATS receives a transfer signal.
- Inspect ATS mechanism: Manually operate the ATS handle (if provided) to ensure it moves freely.
- Test ATS coil: Measure coil voltage when transfer is commanded. Replace the coil or contactor if it does not operate.
