Possible Causes
Faulty run relay on control board, Open run/hold-in wiring, Defective oil pressure or run-permissive sensor, Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the battery and open the main breaker before accessing the control panel.
- Check run relay: Identify the run relay on the All Power America control board (refer to schematic). Inspect for burned contacts or cracked solder joints. Replace the relay or board if defective.
- Verify oil pressure switch: Some systems require oil pressure to close a run circuit. Test the switch for proper operation as described in the low oil pressure procedure.
- Inspect wiring: Trace the run circuit wiring from the controller to the engine sensors and back. Repair any opens.
