Generator runs but lights flicker or sensitive electronics behave erratically

• Inspect neutral and ground: Have an electrician verify tight, corrosion-free neutral and ground connections at the generator, ATS, and main panel.
• Measure voltage: A technician should measure line and neutral voltages under load to check for fluctuations.
• Replace AVR if unstable: If voltage swings outside acceptable range with normal load, the AVR may need replacement.
