Excessive vibration of generator enclosure during operation

Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect battery negative before tightening or replacing mounts.

• Inspect mounts: Check rubber engine and alternator mounts for cracks, separation, or oil saturation. Replace any damaged mounts with DuroMax‑specified isolators.
• Tighten hardware: Go over all frame, base, and enclosure bolts with the appropriate tools and torque them to spec.
• Check for contact points: Ensure the exhaust, wiring harnesses, and fuel lines are not rubbing against the frame or enclosure panels.
• Rotor balance: If vibration persists, the rotor may be out of balance or bent. This requires professional alternator service.
