Generator runs but some circuits in the house have no power during outage

Safety first: During an outage, ensure the generator is supplying power and the ATS is in generator position. Use caution when working in live panels; consider hiring an electrician.

• Check breakers: Inspect all breakers in the generator subpanel or ATS load center. Reset any tripped breakers.
• Neutral connections: Verify that the neutral bar connections are tight and that the neutral from the generator is properly landed.
• Identify affected circuits: Map which circuits are dead and confirm they are actually fed by the generator system.
• Correct wiring: If circuits intended to be on generator are not connected in the ATS or subpanel, an electrician must rewire according to the DuroMax installation guide.
