How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect utility and battery power before working inside a wet enclosure. Dry components thoroughly before re-energizing.
Steps:
- Dry interior: Use towels and a fan to dry the interior of the enclosure and components as much as possible.
- Inspect seals: Check door gaskets and panel seals for cracks or gaps. Replace damaged seals with Eaton-approved parts.
- Clear drains: Locate and clear any enclosure drain holes to allow water to escape.
- Site drainage: Improve grading or add a drain system if water pools around the base of the generator.
