How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate mains and generator before opening the ATS or control panel.
- Simulate mains failure: With supervision, open the main breaker to simulate a power cut and observe if the ATS sends a start signal (indicator lights, relay click).
- Check control terminals: Tighten all low‑voltage control terminal screws at both ATS and Einhell generator controller.
- Continuity test: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the remote start pair between ATS and generator.
- Replace ATS start relay: If the relay coil is not energizing or contacts are burnt, replace with the correct type.
If wiring and ATS components are good, the generator controller input may be faulty and require service.
