Possible Causes
Empty fuel tank, Clogged carburetor jets, Blocked air filter element, Choke not operating correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the ignition and disconnect the spark plug cap before disassembling fuel or air components.
- Confirm fuel: Check that the Einhell fuel tank has sufficient fresh fuel. Refill if low.
- Check choke position: For cold starts, ensure the choke lever is in the CHOKE/START position. After the engine fires, gradually move to RUN.
- Inspect air filter: Remove the air filter cover and element. If the foam or paper element is heavily soiled, clean (foam) or replace (paper) with an Einhell‑specified filter.
- Clean carburetor (basic): Remove the carburetor bowl, drain old fuel, and clean the main jet and emulsion tube with carb cleaner. Reassemble carefully.
If the engine still will not start, further carburetor overhaul or ignition checks may be required by a technician.
