Generator runs but display shows E07 and output voltage is low (e.g., 150–180 V instead of 230 V)

Safety first: Turn OFF the generator, disconnect from all loads and the transfer switch, and wait for rotating parts to stop.

• Remove all loads: Ensure no devices are connected to the generator. Restart and check the voltage reading on the Einhell display or with a multimeter at the outlet.
• Inspect AVR connections: Access the alternator end cover (usually at the rear of the generator). Locate the AVR module. Check that all spade connectors and plugs are firmly seated and free of corrosion or burn marks.
• Check stator resistance (advanced): With the unit OFF and unplugged, measure the resistance of the excitation winding according to the Einhell service manual. An open or shorted winding indicates a faulty stator.
• Replace AVR if necessary: If the stator tests good and wiring is intact but voltage remains low, replace the AVR with an Einhell‑approved AVR module matched to your generator model.
• Verify load type: Avoid connecting large non‑PFC switch‑mode power supplies or heavy inductive loads that can drag voltage down. Use soft‑start devices where appropriate.

Because AVR and stator work involve live AC components, if you are not experienced, have an authorized Einhell technician perform these checks and replacements.
