Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Confirm the generator is stopped and isolated from all power sources before inspection.
- Check emergency stop button: Locate the red emergency stop (E‑STOP) on the Einhell control panel or enclosure. If it is pressed in, twist or pull to release it according to the marking.
- Inspect E‑STOP contacts: With power off, remove the E‑STOP switch from the panel and inspect the contacts for burning or mechanical damage. Replace if the switch does not latch and release smoothly.
- Trace safety loop: Follow the low‑voltage safety loop wiring (often including door interlocks, oil sensor, temperature sensor). Look for broken wires, loose connectors, or corrosion at junction points.
- Check safety relay: On the control PCB, identify the safety relay (refer to Einhell schematic). If the relay shows signs of overheating or does not click when AUTO is selected (with all safety devices closed), the board may be faulty.
Because the safety circuit prevents dangerous operation, do not bypass it for regular use. Replace defective components with original Einhell parts.
