Possible Causes
Loose engine mounting bolts, Damaged rubber anti‑vibration mounts, Bent crankshaft or rotor, Generator frame not level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Stop the generator and allow moving parts to come to rest before inspection.
- Check mounting bolts: Inspect and tighten all engine and alternator mounting bolts on the Einhell frame.
- Inspect anti‑vibration mounts: Look at the rubber mounts between engine/alternator and frame. Replace any that are cracked, torn, or oil‑soaked.
- Level the unit: Ensure the generator is on a flat, solid surface or properly installed base. Shim or adjust feet as needed.
- Remove unbalanced loads: Disconnect any mechanically coupled equipment (if present) to see if vibration reduces.
Severe vibration with all mounts intact may indicate internal engine or rotor damage and should be evaluated by a technician.
