How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not run the engine with fuel‑contaminated oil; it can cause severe damage.
- Drain and replace oil: Drain the crankcase completely and refill with fresh oil of the grade specified by Einhell.
- Service carburetor float: Remove the carburetor, clean the float and needle, and ensure the needle seats properly. Replace worn needle and seat.
- Close fuel tap: Always close the fuel valve when the generator is not in use to prevent fuel seepage into the cylinder.
If fuel continues to enter the crankcase, replace the carburetor assembly.
