Possible Causes
Tripped or failed output breaker, Disconnected stator leads, Failed AVR, Demagnetized rotor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect all loads. Wait for all moving parts to stop.
- Check output breaker: Ensure the main AC breaker on the Einhell panel is in the ON position. Reset if tripped.
- Inspect wiring: Remove the alternator end cover and verify that all stator and rotor wires are securely connected to the AVR and terminal block.
- Test with multimeter: With the engine running (only if you are trained), measure voltage at the terminals. If zero, the AVR or rotor excitation may have failed.
- Replace AVR: If wiring is intact and there is no excitation voltage, replace the AVR with the correct Einhell part.
If there is still no output, the rotor or stator windings may be damaged and require professional rewinding or replacement.
