Possible Causes

Cracked fuel hose, Loose fuel line clamp, Leaking carburetor bowl gasket, Damaged fuel tank or fuel tap

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the generator, close the fuel valve, and keep away from flames or sparks. Work in a well‑ventilated area.

  • Locate leak source: Wipe fuel from hoses and fittings, then observe where fresh fuel appears.
  • Replace hoses: Install new fuel‑rated hose of the same diameter for any cracked or hardened lines. Secure with proper clamps.
  • Carburetor bowl gasket: If fuel seeps around the bowl, replace the gasket with an Einhell‑compatible part and ensure screws are evenly tightened.
  • Inspect tank and tap: Check the fuel tap and tank seam for cracks. Replace the tap or tank if leaking.

Do not operate the generator until all fuel leaks are fully resolved.
