Safety first: Plan maintenance with the generator safely isolated from load. Follow FG Wilson and engine manufacturer service schedules.

• Perform service: Change engine oil and filters, replace fuel filters, inspect air filter, check coolant condition, and perform all checks listed in the FG Wilson maintenance manual.
• Inspect belts and hoses: Replace any worn or cracked components.
• Test run: After service, run the generator under load to verify correct operation.
• Reset service timer: Use the controller menu to reset the service due counter according to the manual.
