Safety first: Turn OFF the generator, disconnect from load, and allow it to cool fully.

Reduce continuous load: Recalculate your home's load and ensure it does not exceed the Firman generator's continuous kW rating.
Improve ventilation: Clear obstructions around the enclosure and ensure intake and exhaust vents are unobstructed.
Inspect cooling fan and shrouds: Confirm that any engine or alternator cooling fans are intact and that shrouds are in place.
Check main breaker temperature: If the breaker is hot to the touch and trips, it may be weakened and require replacement.

For frequent long-duration shutdowns, consider load management or a higher-capacity generator.

Generator shuts down after running for a long period under heavy load, with no specific error code.
