Possible Causes
Uncleared previous alarm (Overcrank, Overspeed, etc.), Active auxiliary shutdown input, Faulty starter relay, Controller output failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Confirm that no unsafe condition exists before attempting to clear lockout.
- Clear alarms: Review the alarm history and correct the underlying cause (e.g., fuel, oil, temperature). Set the controller to OFF for 30 seconds, then back to AUTO to clear lockout.
- Check shutdown inputs: Verify that E-stop and auxiliary shutdown circuits are in the normal (run) state.
- Test starter relay: In MANUAL start command, check for 12 V at the starter relay coil. If present but the relay does not click, replace the starter relay. If no voltage is present, suspect controller output failure.
