Possible Causes
Damaged or missing enclosure seals, Blocked drain holes, Improper installation slope, Roof or conduit leaks above unit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the generator OFF and isolate all power sources. Do not operate the generator with standing water inside the enclosure.
- Remove water: Carefully sponge or vacuum out standing water. Dry components with clean rags and low‑heat air.
- Inspect seals and gaskets: Check door gaskets, panel seals, and cable entry glands. Replace cracked or missing seals with Genergy‑approved parts.
- Clear drains: Locate and clear any blocked drain holes in the base pan.
- Address external leaks: Repair roof or conduit penetrations above the generator that allow water to drip into the enclosure.
- Check for corrosion damage: Clean light corrosion and apply protective spray. Severely corroded terminals or boards should be replaced.
