Possible Causes
Undersized gas line to Genergy unit, Partially closed manual gas valve, Clogged gas filter or regulator, Failing gas pressure regulator
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the generator OFF and close the gas supply valve. Work with a licensed gas technician when modifying gas piping.
- Verify gas line sizing: Compare the installed gas line diameter and length to the Genergy installation manual. Long runs or small pipe can cause pressure drop under load.
- Check valves and filters: Ensure all inline gas valves are fully open. Replace or clean any inline gas filters according to manufacturer instructions.
- Inspect regulator: Check the Genergy‑supplied regulator for frost, contamination, or damage. Ensure the vent is clear. Replace the regulator if outlet pressure cannot be maintained.
- Measure dynamic pressure: With a manometer and under technician supervision, measure gas pressure at the generator inlet while running under load. Compare to Genergy specifications.
- Correct supply issues: If utility or tank pressure is inadequate, coordinate with the gas supplier to correct the issue.
