Safety first: Place the generator in OFF mode and disconnect battery negative before performing maintenance.

Steps:

• Perform service: Change engine oil and oil filter, replace air filter, replace fuel filter(s), and inspect belts and hoses per the Gillette maintenance schedule.
• Inspect electrical: Tighten control panel and alternator terminals, check battery condition, and clean the enclosure.
