- Locate remote E-stop: Identify any remote emergency stop stations connected to the Guardian generator. Reset them according to their design.
- Inspect remote wiring: Check the low-voltage wiring from remote devices to the generator controller for shorts to ground or open circuits.
- Disconnect test: Temporarily disconnect the remote stop wiring at the controller terminal strip. If the alarm clears, the issue is in the remote circuit.
- Controller input check: If the alarm remains with remote wiring removed, the control board input may be shorted and require replacement.
