Excessive vibration of generator enclosure and base during operation; may cause noise in nearby structure.

Safety first: Place the controller in OFF and open the main breaker. Allow moving parts to stop before inspection.

• Check mounting bolts: Verify that the generator base is securely fastened to the pad and that engine-to-base bolts are tight.
• Inspect engine mounts: Look for cracked or collapsed rubber mounts and replace as needed.
• Rotor balance: If vibration persists with all mounts secure, the rotor may be out of balance and should be checked by a Guardian technician.
• Flexible connections: Ensure fuel and exhaust flex connections are not rigidly stressing the unit.
