Possible Causes
Shorted wiring in safety loop, Defective safety relay on controller PCB, Incorrect bypass of safety contacts, Moisture ingress in control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Do not bypass safety circuits permanently. Turn OFF generator, isolate battery, and ensure panel is de-energised.
- Inspect control panel: Open the Himoinsa control panel and look for signs of moisture, corrosion, or burnt components around the safety loop terminals.
- Check wiring harness: Trace the safety loop wiring (oil pressure, coolant temp, emergency stop, etc.) for pinched or shorted cables to ground.
- Test loop continuity: Using the wiring diagram, disconnect each safety device and test the loop section by section to locate the short.
- Dry and clean panel: If moisture is present, dry the panel thoroughly and apply contact cleaner to affected connectors.
- Controller relay check: If wiring is sound, the internal safety relay or PCB on the controller may be faulty and require replacement by a qualified technician.
