Possible Causes
Ruptured coolant hose, Failed radiator cap, Cracked radiator core, Faulty expansion tank
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Allow engine to cool before touching any cooling components. Coolant under pressure can cause injury.
- Locate leak source: Inspect hoses, radiator, water pump, and expansion tank for wet areas or dried coolant residue.
- Replace damaged parts: Fit new hoses, clamps, or radiator as required. Use OEM or equivalent parts compatible with Himoinsa systems.
- Check radiator cap: Test or replace the cap if it does not hold pressure or if coolant is venting excessively.
- Refill and bleed: Refill with correct coolant mix and bleed air from the system.
- Pressure test: If available, perform a cooling system pressure test to confirm no further leaks.
