Blown display fuse, Failed HMI module, Loose ribbon cable or connector, No DC supply from controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect battery negative and de-energize AC sources before opening the control panel.
- Check fuses: Locate and test low-voltage fuses feeding the display or HMI. Replace blown fuses with identical ratings.
- Inspect connectors: Reseat ribbon cables and plug connectors between the controller PCB and display module.
- Measure DC supply: With power restored (qualified persons only), verify that the display is receiving the correct DC voltage from the controller.
- Replace HMI: If supply voltage is present but the display remains blank, replace the HMI/display module with a Honda-specified part.
