How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Confirm there is no real emergency before resetting the E-stop.
Steps:
- Reset E-stop: Locate the red emergency stop button on the Honeywell generator enclosure. Twist or pull to release it.
- Inspect switch: If the message remains, open the E-stop housing and inspect the contacts for damage or corrosion. Replace the switch if it does not mechanically latch and release properly.
- Check wiring: Follow the E-stop wires back to the controller. Repair any breaks or loose connections.
- Clear alarm: Once the circuit is restored, clear the E-Stop alarm and test start the generator.
