Possible Causes
Blown display fuse, Failed HMI module, Loose ribbon cable, No DC supply to controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect battery negative before opening the control panel.
- Check fuses: Inspect low-voltage fuses feeding the Hyundai controller and display. Replace blown fuses with correct rating.
- Verify DC supply: Measure DC voltage at the controller power input. If absent, trace back to battery and charger wiring.
- Inspect connections: Reseat any ribbon cables or connectors between the controller and display module.
- Replace HMI: If power is present but the display remains blank, replace the display/HMI module with a Hyundai-compatible unit.
