Generator shuts down and E07 is shown on the display during cranking or early run.

Safety first: Place the generator in OFF and disconnect any non-essential loads at the transfer switch.

• Start with no load: Attempt to start the generator in MANUAL with all loads disconnected. If it reaches normal speed and frequency, the issue may be related to excessive or sudden loading.
• Check fuel system: Inspect the fuel filter, fuel lines, and tank for blockages or contamination. Replace the Hyundai Power fuel filter if it is dirty or water-contaminated.
• Inspect air filter: A clogged air filter can reduce engine power. Remove and inspect the Hyundai Power air filter element. Clean or replace as required.
• Governor adjustment: If equipped with a mechanical governor, verify that the governor spring and linkage are intact and properly tensioned. For electronic governors, check wiring and consult the service manual for calibration procedures.
• Gradual load application: Once the engine is stable at rated speed, apply loads gradually rather than all at once to avoid dragging the engine below underspeed threshold.
