Possible Causes
Failing AVR, Loose neutral connection, Rapidly changing load, Worn Hyundai Power engine governor components
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect sensitive loads (computers, servers) until power quality is stable.
- Measure voltage stability: Use a multimeter to monitor voltage while loads switch on and off. Large swings indicate regulation issues.
- Inspect neutral and ground: Tighten all neutral and ground connections in the generator and ATS. A loose neutral can cause flicker and imbalance.
- Check AVR: Look for signs of overheating or damage on the AVR. Replace if voltage is unstable despite correct engine speed.
- Governor response: If engine RPM fluctuates with load, inspect and adjust the governor linkage or electronic governor settings.
