How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect battery negative before opening the control panel.

  • Step 1 – Inspect panel: Check for cracks, water marks, or physical damage on the keypad and display.
  • Step 2 – Reseat ribbon cable: Open the panel and carefully reseat the keypad ribbon cable into the controller board.
  • Step 3 – Dry moisture: If condensation is present, dry the panel thoroughly and improve enclosure sealing.
  • Step 4 – Replace keypad: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the Kipor keypad or entire HMI assembly as a unit.
