Control panel on Kipor generator is dead; no lights or display, generator will not respond

Safety first: Ensure battery cables cannot short to chassis while working.

• Step 1 – Check battery: Verify battery voltage and polarity. Reconnect any loose cables and clean terminals.
• Step 2 – Inspect DC fuse: Locate the main DC fuse near the battery or controller. Replace if blown with the same rating.
• Step 3 – Verify ground: Ensure the engine and controller ground straps are secure and free of corrosion.
• Step 4 – Controller test: If power and ground are present at the controller connector but it remains dead, replace the Kipor control module.
