Possible Causes

Blown DC fuse to controller, Loose DC power connector, Internal controller power supply failure, Shorted accessory on controller supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect battery negative before removing controller or fuses.

  • Step 1 – Check DC fuses: Locate the low‑voltage fuse block feeding the Kipor controller. Test each fuse with a meter and replace any blown fuses with the correct rating.
  • Step 2 – Inspect controller connector: Remove and reseat the main multi‑pin connector on the back of the controller. Look for bent pins or corrosion.
  • Step 3 – Disconnect accessories: Temporarily disconnect non‑essential accessories (remote panel, modem, etc.) from the controller to rule out a shorted add‑on.
  • Step 4 – Replace controller: If proper DC voltage is present at the controller connector but E13 remains and the unit is non‑responsive, the controller's internal power supply may have failed. Replace the Kipor digital controller.
