Possible Causes
Blown controller supply fuse, Loose DC supply wiring to APM, Internal display failure, Vibration-induced connector issues
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect battery negative before opening the control panel.
- Check fuses: Locate and test the low-voltage fuses feeding the APM controller. Replace any blown fuses with the correct rating and investigate cause.
- Inspect wiring: Tighten DC supply terminals at the controller and battery.
- Connector reseat: Reseat multi-pin connectors on the back of the controller.
- Test operation: Reconnect battery and observe if the display powers up consistently. If still blank, the controller may need replacement.
Do not operate the generator without a functioning controller display and alarms; replace the APM module if necessary.
