• Check fuel system: Replace fuel filter, verify fuel supply, and inspect for collapsed fuel hoses.
• Inspect governor actuator: Ensure the actuator responds quickly to load changes. Replace if sluggish or unresponsive.
• Engine inspection: If low frequency occurs even with light load, engine compression and fuel injection timing should be checked by a technician.
