Possible Causes
Blown DC control fuse, Disconnected or dead battery, Loose battery ground connection, Failed control board power supply
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disable auto-start and verify the generator cannot start unexpectedly. Use insulated tools around the battery.
- Check battery voltage: Measure voltage at the battery terminals. If zero or very low, charge or replace the battery.
- Inspect DC fuses: Locate the DC control fuses in the generator control box. Replace any blown fuses with the correct rating and investigate why they blew.
- Verify ground connection: Ensure the battery negative cable is securely attached to the generator frame and free of corrosion.
- Check panel connector: Reseat the multi-pin connector to the control panel or controller. If power is present at the controller but the panel remains dead, the controller may be faulty.
