Emergency Stop Activated / Remote Stop Circuit Open
Controller shows E06 and generator will not start

Possible Causes
Emergency stop button engaged, Open or broken wiring in E-stop circuit, Faulty remote stop contact, Defective controller input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Confirm the generator cannot start automatically. Keep hands clear of moving parts.
- Check emergency stop button: Locate the red E-stop on the generator enclosure or remote panel. If it is pressed in, twist or pull (depending on design) to reset.
- Inspect E-stop wiring: Follow the two wires from the E-stop switch to the controller terminal strip. Look for loose terminals, broken conductors, or corrosion. Tighten and repair as needed.
- Remote stop contacts: If your Pramac system uses remote stop/start contacts, verify that the remote device is not commanding a stop. Temporarily disconnect the remote wiring at the controller to test.
- Controller input test: If the circuit is closed but E06 remains, the controller input may be faulty. This typically requires a Pramac service technician or controller replacement.
