Possible Causes

Low oil level causing overheating, Blocked oil cooler (if equipped), Faulty oil temperature sensor, High ambient temperature with inadequate ventilation

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF and allow the engine to cool. Do not touch hot engine components.

  • Check oil level: Verify and correct oil level as per dipstick marks.
  • Inspect ventilation: Ensure louvers and ventilation openings in the Pramac enclosure are not blocked. Remove debris and verify that any ventilation fans operate.
  • Oil cooler check: If your model has an external oil cooler, inspect for dirt buildup and clean with low-pressure air.
  • Sensor and wiring: Locate the oil temperature sensor and inspect its connector and harness. Replace the sensor if readings are clearly incorrect compared to actual engine temperature.
