Pramac generator shows E17 and will not crank

Safety first: Never bypass safety switches for normal operation. They protect against contact with moving and live parts.

• Close all panels: Ensure all access doors and service panels on the Pramac enclosure are fully closed and latched.
• Inspect door switches: Locate the magnetic or mechanical door switches. Check alignment between switch and actuator. Adjust mounting if necessary.
• Check continuity: With power off, test continuity through the safety loop from the controller terminals. Repair or replace any open switches or damaged wiring.
• Clear alarm: After restoring the safety circuit, clear E17 and test start.
