Possible Causes
Air in fuel lines, Clogged fuel filter, Closed fuel shutoff valve, Failed lift pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disable AUTO mode. Keep sparks and flames away from fuel. Place absorbent pads under fittings to catch spills.
- Verify fuel supply: Confirm there is adequate fuel in the tank and that any manual shutoff valves are fully open.
- Replace fuel filter: Install a new OEM fuel filter element. Prime the system using the hand primer (if fitted) until fuel flows without bubbles.
- Bleed injectors (diesel): Loosen injector line nuts slightly and crank the engine until fuel without air appears, then retighten. Follow the engine/Pramac manual.
- Check lift pump: If no fuel reaches the filter during priming, test the electric or mechanical lift pump and replace if not delivering fuel.
