How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not place hands near moving parts while running. Use hearing protection around loud equipment.
- Inspect mounts: With engine off, visually inspect rubber engine and alternator mounts for cracking or separation. Replace worn mounts.
- Check mounting bolts: Tighten engine base, alternator feet, and skid bolts to the torque specified by Pramac.
- Enclosure panels: Tighten all panel screws and latches. Add anti-vibration washers where needed.
- Coupling alignment: On models with flexible couplings, misalignment should be corrected by a technician using alignment tools.
