How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately shut down the generator, disable AUTO, and ventilate the area. Eliminate all ignition sources.
- Locate leak: Use a flashlight to trace wet fuel back to its source. Do not use open flames.
- Tighten fittings: Gently tighten hose clamps and threaded fittings at the leak point. Do not overtighten plastic components.
- Replace damaged parts: Install new fuel hoses, filter, or sender gasket if they show cracks or persistent seepage.
- Clean spill: Absorb spilled fuel with approved absorbent and dispose of properly.
