Automatic weekly exercise test does not run; generator remains idle even though exercise is enabled.

Safety first: Ensure the generator is in AUTO mode and that utility power is present.

• Verify exercise settings: Enter the Pulsar control menu and confirm that exercise mode is enabled and scheduled for the correct day/time.
• Check battery voltage: Low battery may prevent the controller from initiating exercise. Charge or replace the battery if needed.
• Test manual start: Confirm the generator can start in MANUAL mode. If not, resolve starting issues first.

If settings are correct and the unit starts manually but never exercises, the control PCB may have a timer fault and require replacement.
