Possible Causes

Leaking fuel hose, Loose fuel fitting, Cracked carburetor bowl, Faulty gas leak sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Immediately turn OFF the generator, close all fuel supply valves, and ventilate the area. Do not operate electrical switches or create sparks. If you smell strong gas, evacuate and contact emergency services.

  • Visual inspection: After the area is safe and ventilated, inspect all fuel hoses, clamps, and fittings on the Pulsar generator for wet spots, drips, or cracks.
  • Tighten fittings: Gently tighten hose clamps and threaded fittings that appear loose. Do not overtighten plastic components.
  • Check carburetor or fuel rail: Look for fuel seeping from the carburetor bowl gasket or fuel rail connections.
  • Inspect gas leak sensor: If no leak is found, the onboard gas leak sensor may be contaminated or defective. Ensure it is clean and its wiring is intact.

Any confirmed fuel leak should be repaired before restarting. Replace damaged hoses or components with Pulsar-approved parts. If you are not comfortable working with fuel systems, contact a professional.
