Possible Causes
Incorrect date/time settings, Corrupted controller memory, Control board firmware issue, Low backup battery on control board (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the generator is in OFF or AUTO as appropriate and that you are only interacting with the control panel.
- Verify date and time: Using the Pulsar control panel menu, confirm that the current date and time are set correctly.
- Reprogram exercise schedule: Delete the existing exercise schedule and re-enter the desired day and time according to the manual.
- Power cycle controller: Turn the generator OFF, disconnect the battery for 1–2 minutes, then reconnect and reprogram the schedule.
If E20 persists and the timer will not hold settings, the main control PCB may need to be updated or replaced.
